Lets start off with the bad stuff today. Make the good news sound better.
Three days ago, I lost my best friend. She hates me now. And to be honest, I don't even know why. So, I doubt you'll ever be hearing or seeing about Kodiey and Chloey on my YouTube. Brilliant, eh?
For the good news, Kai's learned several tricks. The Recycle trick, it's on YouTube, the shoelace trick, the sock trick, and the bubbles trick. So, basically, that shoelace trick, she unties my shoes, and then the sock trick, she takes off my socks. I think I'm getting lazier and lazier each time I teach her to do something for me.
For the recycle trick, she can take basically anything she can hold in her mouth(we started with plastic bottles and have recently graduated to massive cardboard cereal boxes) and bring it to the recycle bin on cue. It's pretty fun, because friends and family, when they're done with their drink, look for the recycle bin, I can just get Kai to do it for them.
Now, about that bubbles trick...It's a difficult one. Kai started off mouthing the bowl instead of putting her nose into it. Thank doG there wasn't water in there yet. Once she got the idea, I laid a towel under the bowl, and poured water into it. You'd think a single towel would suffice for a hardwood floor, but no, it's quite opposite :) I would even recommend you use a beach towel folded up because it gets quite messy. About half the water goes out on their face. Kai likes this trick, but I learned that she is really good at holding her breath. She stayed with her nose under water for about 30 seconds before any bubbles. Don't worry, though, I made sure she didn't inhale any and become fearful or at the least have a weird nose infection. She's getting the grip of it, but I'll give her a day to forget about it and start over tomorrow after the Dog Show.
That brings me to the last "topic" of today's post(unless I forget something, and then I'll type in an edit), the Colorado Dog Show. Me, my friend Kalie(or Kay), and our parents are going to the dog show that's in town tomorrow. It's a shame I can't bring Kai, but hey, rules are rules. There's supposedly nice collars, leashes, and other dog stuff there, and I could use some of those. I'm really exited, I don't know if I can bring the video cam and tape some of it for YouTube. Probably not. Either way, it's gonna be pretty cool. I can tell already that we'll be lingering around the GSD and Shih Tzu stuff, because I have a GSD(Obviously) and Kay has two Shih Tzus. They're cute :)
Well, I can't think of anything to add, so, I'm off!
Oh, Happy Valentines day! Okay, I'm done.
